Such a beautiful day! Thanks for the information and I see your cats also took the opportunity to get a feline solar recharge.
What about a vertical axis wind turbine as it's always windy in the UK might look quite cool on top of the boat
Always nice to see your video ladies !!!
Good to see you out in the sun you've found some good gadgets to charge your phones with. Are the lights in your boat powered my solar?
If so could you show us your boat solar setup Invertor etc and battery pack you have.
Looking forward to you cruising about the country and showing us the sights.
Great informative channel
You both seem so calm. Like kitties with your fur smoothed. Life seems to suit you both..and your furry family.
Nice and informative, I will have to widen my investigation into portable power and solar devices to include some of the ones you mentioned that I haven't seen before.
Also I recall that Amazon has a or had a program where if you post a link to a product they give you a very small amount of money when someone uses your link to buy that product.
That was so interesting, thank you. The battery packs look fantastic- even if you’re not on a boat x
hi nice sunny vid
Some very vocal bird life in the background there!
Kath, Anna lovely skin tone, if that is ok to say so? Being country girls full time, I can see the need to be self-surfactant. Like Kath said, security is also very important, Not good telling the world. This would help a tad! Cheers
Hi Ladies, i have been following Jono, and he has explained about his Solar panels and all the gadgets he has to monitor his batteries etc, but to be honest as interesting as it all was, it was all very complicated and confusing in parts, he may have been speaking in Russian lol, can you explain the basics you need so you can use large fixed solar panels for your batteries on a boat, and what the bits do Please.
Why not get a real solar panels? A large battery bank to store the energy.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to have your cellphone in direct sunlight along with the solar case – I would shade the phone itself…
🙂
good to see u girls out and about on such a lovely day, all the best from australia.
For a low-cost alternative, you could just pull up next to Jono's boat and plug-in. He's got enough stored energy to top you off.
Are you going to Crick 2018? Me and my wife are going on the Saturday for our first time. Interesting what you said about arriving early and taking your own food cheers.
Don’t encourage me to buy too many products! I have the tefal pans, the dyson vacuum, the kitchen foil, film, towel dispenser. There’s probably other stuff that I’ve forgotten. Oh yes Annamarie’s watercolours. How could I forget them!
I always love your videos. Please do a review of a decent battery pack that will charge an ipad. xx
Here’s an idea of how to maximize your solar exposure: https://www.newyorker.com/cartoon/a21803
yes i realy want to know about recycling!
i want to do something good for nature!
im doing that on the main land but oktober first i wil move in my boat Anne Bonny.
I found this blog very helpful and especially liked that it was such a nice day! Well done, K & A!
Notice no cats around for this . . . off enjoying a warm spot??? /cats can be their own recharging stations if the sun is out.
Thanks, again . . . You guys are great! Admit it . . . the solar lasses have struck again!
Was there some Annasplaining there with the solar panel? 🙂 A good informative vlog 🙂 Have you considered BIG solar panels for the boat?
Very useful little gadget I will have to say, I have one for emergency use, going off-grid, hiking etc. but don't bet your life on it .. it needs full sun shine to work effectively. And yes, it cuts off when there's not enough sun, which is not entirely a bad thing.
Lovely solar panel.just nice for charging phones
