Cool video! Also, my favorite thing about 731 Woodworks is his accent.
First time view…enjoyed your channel. Appreciate the fact that you give credit to fellow makers. New Subscriber. All the best!
Great video. I’m definitely going to check out some of these project videos. The chairs especially interest me. I think I’ve seen them before which is why I’m already subscribed. But I’m read to build one now.
Already like this guy, what the heck is a charcuttery board.
How to you actually sell them? Marketing etc…
Love the thumbnail
Based on this video you are the woodworker I have been looking for. With a starter shop it is tough to find creators whose designs don't require a shop full of every expensive pro machine. You earned a subscriber!
I like how pragmatic your projects are. I wonder how well they will translate over to the UK where we have smaller homes. The chairs actually look really similar to ones my parents have in a really expensive table/chair set!
What / which pocket hole jig do you use there?
Someone get this man some water
The only way one can make money with this is by advertising online where customers are looking for, and will pay for custom pieces. Anything local is wasted effort as I've seen many pieces and sets being sold in home stores for cheap since they are produced in foreign countries with basically "slave" labor.
I use a belt sander with 80 grit instead of a planer. Messier but don't have the issue s with grooving in the wood that I had with electric planer. Proper dust collection and mask are essential if you go this route. As well as an apron to keep from getting messy. Good information. Plan on attempting the chairs and tables.
First time I've come across ya. I clicked the button! One question, though:
What do you sell each of those for? I know that the store has cheap crap, but this is all quality furniture.
Charcuterie is French for BBQ'd meat (mainly pork), so yeah…what a really weird and horrible name…let's all laugh at the foreign culture who gave America it's cooking culture. In fact let's take time in the video to make fun of any kind of word that makes the uncultured and uneducated feel insecure.
Was randomly watching, but that charcuterie joke brought me over to that subscribe button.
Great Videos! Would you be selling the plans for these projects?
And how much are you getting for each thing?
Sucks that's wood prices really went up thro
RBFCB
You only make money if you got expensive tools. This video is for the guys that got money not the little guy.
I'm a Cook. (A really GOOD one)
I love cutting boards and I prefer the ones made with wood then glass or plastic. I have different ones for different things. Definitely don't want cross contamination.
Sadly, right now I'm living in a place with a very small kitchen…but I still have mucho stuff….yikes. If I had more space there is one thing I'd really like to have. I'd like to have a large Charc…lol…jk…
I'd like to have a large board – at least 20×28 – hardwood with a juice catch (3/4" wide x 1/2" deep) 1" from the edge. Also the board would have nice smooth metal handles. It could be used not just as a cutting board in the kitchen, but also as a cutting/serving board for parties, get-togethers, etc.. With the deep 'juice trap' there would be a better chance of keeping everything tidy.
……had I the room…lol….. oh well.
Love that very last part. 🙂
Those chairs looked really nice too
Sorry, was busier earlier, but yep, I think Woody is still giving away his woodworking book, but I'm not so sure. I managed to get it go'ogling Woody Hyezmar, and was surprised to see his "Woodworking Bible" up for grabs, hope this helps.
Motivation Channel. Great
I'm curious how DYIs go about selling these. FB Marketplace, Etsy, etc.
Great video. Do you sell these? Can you post prices. Thanks
That’s awesome that you gave Matt Outlaw a shout out!
Not gonna lie, I may very well advertise simpler large boards exactly like that
Really big cutting boards.
I have no respect for the scum who continue to construct the hideously uncomfortable standard design of dining room chairs. Seriously, they all suck, not a single one is designed for comfort or ergonomics. We can do better people. There is no need to sit on a flat, hard, level, slippery surface every time you eat.
I HATE POCKET HOLES…!!! THEY ARE THE "IKEA" OF WOOD WORKING, STOP USING THEM..!!!
I’ll search your Chanel but how do you get your business/ where do you sell? Face book?
For the time being, I do think that Woody Hyezmar is still giving his Woodworking Bible if you go’ogle his pretty old yet very useful, just thought I’d mention it to those who are interested.
Are GREY sofas out of fashion?
