Ohh my Gosh! I wish I had known this a couple days ago….celibrated my wife's Birthday….I guess we'll just have to celebrate her birthday again…So awesome, Mahalo's you guyz!
Felix got that fan move down! Plenty fancy sandwiches. Mean burger!!!
Loved this video, going back home to Oahu for a visit in January (live in California now) and def going to make my reservation for afternoon tea… what comes in the gift bag?
We took my mother and her sisters there over 10 years ago. We loved it. Once we had the one at Waioli Tearoom and we were an afternoon tea kick for a while. We loved the one at the Moana Hotel. I'd like to stay there at least once. It's such a beautiful hotel. Thank you sharing your experience there and the new menu.
Really enjoyed this video! I love afternoon tea. I'm curious what was in the gift bags you guys received?
So glad you did this video! We never did the tea, but would do breakfast there once during our stay! Love the building and everytime we are in hawaii do a walkthru and grab a rocker on the lanai!
Can not wait to be back in Hawaii!!
I'm definitely going there for afternoon tea when I come to Hawaii!!
The "Iced Tea" looked absolutely thirst quenching!
My sister is visiting right now and we did this high tea two weeks ago. It was so good!! I got the peach tea too and loved the shrimp sandwich. We got the table on the corner of the veranda facing the beach. So pretty!! But there was no breeze that day.
A Hawaii-ized English afternoon tea. Looks interesting and delicious.
Loved this video because the way the food looked and your reactions to everything. Who would have thought that such a traditional high tea with non-traditional choices like the burger and fries could be had in Hawaii. Maybe because it was in Hawaii that you could find such great opportunity for the luxury of the high tea combined with appealing alternate choices so that everyone could partake. Again, thanks for the intro to a new, 'must try' for my next visit.
High tea at the Moana is definitely English inspired but not traditional. LOL. Last time in Hawaii for tea was at the Halekulani in the 80's. (Yes, dating myself). I now live in No VA. Did tea at the Hay Adams Hotel (across the WH) in the 90's. The last time I did afternoon tea? The Four Seasons Georgetown. Not sure if they offer afternoon tea today. Many hotels in the DC area stopped offering afternoon tea service. Felix — take Amanda to the Halekulani for tea.
Have to say a Big Thankyou, we just loved watching your videos, we are flying in to Hawaii today, and have a list of places to go for food. Thanks
What island do you two recommend for a first time visitor to Hawaii?
You guys are correct: surfider’s afternoon tea is only British inspired and 100% Aloha style! Love it.
I booked for Nov. I can’t wait! Thanks so much!
My wife loves that. We stayed there for years when they had a great kamaaina rate. I hated it because there was no beer…so now has. Hmmm
Hey I designed those tea cannisters. First time seeing it, honestly lol.
How come you didn't get the upgrade with the Duke?
So fancy!! Looks like fun
I bet you could have asked for some of the croutons to dip in your soup! It looks so tasty. This is a really good video and great showcasing the food and flavors of the meal. Y’all have just given me another thing to do on our visit next year (2024). Oh, and new subscriber here. Thanks again for sharing with us.
Love this!!
How much guys
